Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager for Wound Healing Services to join our team at UW Hospital & Clinics. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing operational oversight and performance leadership for our wound, skin and ostomy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in partnership with the Program Director, Medical Director, and other leaders to improve clinical, operational, and financial outcomes associated with wound care.
  • Provide direction, evaluation, and feedback to professional employees on the wound, skin and ostomy team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional inpatient and ambulatory clinical teams to provide high-quality care to complex wound patients.
  • Identify and collect data for benchmarking, reporting to external agencies, and outcomes management.
  • Lead process improvement projects to generate measurable improvement in wound care.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, products council, and other stakeholders to ensure product lines support evidence-based clinical care.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2 years of inpatient or outpatient wound experience required.
  • Adult and pediatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin upon hire required.
  • Certified Wound & Ostomy Nurse preferred.
