- Maintenance Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of our properties, including scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities.
- Ensure that all maintenance work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, and that all necessary repairs and replacements are made.
- Inventory Management
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available when needed.
- Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff, responding to their maintenance requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that all maintenance work is completed to a high standard, and that residents are satisfied with the service they receive.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and customer interactions.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors to ensure that maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as property management and accounting, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of maintenance operations, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements
- This position requires moderate to heavy physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity.
- Working Conditions
- This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
