Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Training
    • Develop and implement training programs for maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.

  • Maintenance Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of our properties, including scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities.
    • Ensure that all maintenance work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, and that all necessary repairs and replacements are made.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance supplies, equipment, and inventory.
    • Ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available when needed.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff, responding to their maintenance requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure that all maintenance work is completed to a high standard, and that residents are satisfied with the service they receive.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and customer interactions.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors to ensure that maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as property management and accounting, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of maintenance operations, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Requirements
    • This position requires moderate to heavy physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting.
    • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity.
  • Working Conditions
    • This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
