About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Daltile. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our maintenance department, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our building services, and providing guidance and support to our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate department-specific functions across one or more shifts, prioritizing work and developing daily department schedules to ensure maintenance schedules are completed according to priority.
  • Prioritize work, develop daily department schedules, and assign routine and preventive maintenance tasks to maintain and improve costs, productivity, quality, and safety standards.
  • Ensure adherence to established priorities for workflow, verifying employee hours worked and preparing and developing a preventive maintenance program for all equipment.
  • Provide technical support to maintenance crews and project leaders, managing daily activities and maintaining machinery in specific functional areas according to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of work performed by the department and individuals within the department, ensuring quality requirements and procedures are communicated, understood, and practiced.
  • Train, develop, and identify employee training and resource needs, maintaining training records and developing effective working relationships with other departments.
  • Lead or work on special projects, overseeing contractors on maintenance-related jobs and ensuring all contract maintenance services are performed according to quality and safety standards.
  • Report daily/weekly/monthly activities related to PM program execution, equipment uptime performance, maintenance personnel activities, and budget status for all sections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0-2 years of management experience.
