Job Title: Clinical Audiologist

UVA Health System is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Audiologist to join our team. As a Clinical Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for patients with hearing and balance disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine and specialized auditory assessments of patients using behavioral and electrophysiological measures.
  • Analyze and interpret test results, making recommendations for rehabilitation and follow-up services as needed.
  • Assess patients' candidacy for amplification, fit and dispense hearing aids or other assistive listening devices, and provide counseling on their use.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations and follow-up care, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in clinical research and departmental quality improvement initiatives, and assist with special projects as requested.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Audiology (minimum)
  • 1 Year of experience in audiology or a related field
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
