Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Audiologist to join our team at the University of Virginia. As a key member of our Audiology Division, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid evaluations, and cochlear implant management services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine and specialized auditory assessments of patients using behavioral and electrophysiological measures.
  • Analyze and interpret test results, making appropriate recommendations for rehabilitation and follow-up services.
  • Assess patients' candidacy for amplification, fit and dispense hearing aids or other assistive listening devices.
  • Provide hearing aid repairs, follow-up care, and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient services, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Audiology (minimum)
  • 1 Year of experience in audiology or a related field
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Experience utilizing a personal computer and computerized scheduling
