Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement site-specific Security and Safety programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align objectives, and train a mainly Spanish-speaking workforce.
- Foster a safety-first mindset across the organization, leading safety committees and promoting employee engagement.
- Provide guidance to management on compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Evaluate operational hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure protective measures are in place.
- Conduct OSHA compliance training and operational hazard-specific training.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field.
- 5 years in Environmental and Safety, with 3 years minimum in manufacturing (food manufacturing experience is a plus).
- Strong OSHA experience (certification a must), ASP or CSP (certifications a plus).
