About the Role

Vi Living is seeking a highly accomplished professional to manage our housekeeping team. As a Housekeeping Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Housekeeping in monitoring the community's cleanliness and laundry processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop housekeeping and laundry staff
  • Supervise, counsel, and evaluate employee performance
  • Ensure housekeeping activities are conducted in a cost-effective manner
  • Monitor and evaluate staffing ratios and patterns to recommend appropriate staffing levels
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive housekeeping experience with prior supervisory responsibility
  • Hospitality, Healthcare, Environmental Services, or Senior Living Environment experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate Degree in related field or equivalent years of experience preferred
  • Member of International Executive Housekeepers Association, Inc. (I.E.H.A.), Certified Executive Housekeeper (C.E.H.), a plus
  • Valid and current driver's license, where applicable
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and manage employees
  • Effective relationships with all departments, residents, family members, and employees
  • Basic working knowledge of MS Office
