Santa Clarita Valley School Food Services Agency - JPA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Operations Manager to join our team.

**Job Summary**

The Food Service Operations Manager will be responsible for organizing, sequencing, leading, and performing food preparation at a secondary school site. This individual will coordinate and participate in cooking, baking, food preparation, and assembly of meals in large quantities.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Maintain adequate inventory of food items by determining the quantity of food required and making the appropriate orders.

• Maintain food production records in compliance with state and federal requirements.

• Requires a current food service Safety/Sanitation Certificate authorizing incumbent to work in Child Nutrition programs at a school site and in contact with students.

**Requirements / Qualifications**

• The position requires a High School diploma plus formal training in meal planning, production scheduling, nutrition, sanitation, and recordkeeping.

• 3 years of experience in institutional cooking and team leadership in an education or equivalent setting.

• Valid California Driver's License.

• Current food service Safety/Sanitation Certificate.
