Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Forrest Machining Inc. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the production schedule, ensuring timely delivery and optimal workflow for aerospace manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the manufacturing schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery of production orders.
  • Liaise with various departments such as engineering, supply chain, and quality control to ensure the availability of materials and resources.
  • Adjust production schedules in response to equipment failures, supply delays, or unforeseen events.
  • Track the progress of production and provide regular status reports to management and relevant team members.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of production control procedures to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely ordering and delivery of materials.
  • Participate in production meetings and provide input on potential bottlenecks or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, resources used, and any deviations from the schedule.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of production planning and inventory control principles
  • Basic knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and technologies
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
