We are seeking a skilled Laborer 2 to join our team at Central Plains Cement Company. This role will involve providing general labor services in our plant and underground mine, operating mobile equipment, and performing routine maintenance and inspections.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general labor services as needed in the plant and underground mine.
- Operate mobile equipment, including cement manufacturing equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mobile equipment.
- Conduct inventory measurements and reporting as required.
- Ensure good housekeeping for a safe and efficient operation.
- Work with minimal supervision and write daily reports as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of mobile equipment operations, troubleshooting, and work order procedures.
- Ability to perform physical labor and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Valid Driver's License and MSHA 40-Hour training required.
The work environment for this role will involve working in a fast-paced cement manufacturing plant and underground mine. The employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high temperatures, and moderate noise levels.
