Job Summary

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Collect subjective data through patient history and interviews.
  2. Perform physical examinations to gather objective data.
  3. Develop accurate diagnoses and create management plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  4. Facilitate referrals to appropriate healthcare facilities and resources.
  5. Order pharmacologic interventions as necessary.
  6. Develop and implement educational plans to promote patient understanding and self-care.
  7. Plan for follow-up care and manage patient outcomes.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Graduate of an accredited RN and NP Program or PA program.
  • Nurse Practitioner Certificate (California) and National Certificate, Registered Nurse License (California), and Furnishing Number (California).
  • OR Physician Assistant License (California) and National Certificate.
  • Basic Life Support and National Provider Identifier.
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to consider Physician Assistant II job code 30005.
  • Obtaining California Furnishing Number and DEA Registration Number within 12 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • First Assist certification.
  • Req'd RNFA certification for Nurse Practitioners.
  • 1 year of clinical and intraoperative experience in the operating room.
  • Clinic experience.
