About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI, USA. As a Product Manager, you will own a product end-to-end, driving both product strategy and execution. This is a unique opportunity to integrate our legacy vehicle dynamics product into comprehensive simulation tools for autonomous customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining products based on a deep understanding of markets, anticipating customer use cases, and meeting time-to-market requirements
  • Understanding and leveraging vehicle dynamics use cases for autonomous vehicle customers, providing differentiated value propositions in the market
  • Collaborating closely with engineering to implement the product, helping them to focus on impactful deliverables through effective prioritization and exceeding customer expectations
  • Managing the complete product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, realizing business outcomes
  • Working with the business development team, sales, and marketing to define customer pitches, engagement models, go-to-market positioning & strategy, and pricing models through the sales process
  • Regularly interacting with customers to gather feedback and ensure it is incorporated into the product

We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in a Product Management position in a top tech company or high-growth startup. You should have knowledge of vehicle components and use case areas, with exposure to vehicle testing regulations, peripherals, connectivity, or any other hardware aspect. Experience working on automotive computer-aided engineering products is a plus. A MS/BS degree in Mechanical Engineer, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent is required. Nice to have: prior experience in developing products for automotive applications, exposure to hypergrowth at a startup from Series A to IPO, and a previous founder who can grasp quickly when there is a product-market fit.
