We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new dining establishments at Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino: Del Sol Mexican Cuisine and Dragon River Noodle Bowl. These venues will serve as our Quick Serve Restaurants (QSR), creating a vibrant food court experience.

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about customer service to join our team as food service associates and culinary staff. We appreciate team members who take pride in delivering exceptional service and creating a friendly atmosphere for our guests.

AGE REQUIREMENT
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of the Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino family and work in a newly established environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Support guests visiting our Quick Service Restaurants by adhering to established service standards and company protocols. Responsibilities include taking orders, assisting in food service operations, managing food inventory, and ensuring a clean and sanitary workspace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet and engage with every guest who visits the QSR.
  • Identify guest needs and recommend menu items to enhance their experience.
  • Deliver outstanding service in the QSR outlets, addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Prepare menu items according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Handle food preparation, cash register operations, and transition product prep between shifts.
  • Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to the supervisor.
  • Process transactions accurately and maintain organized financial records.
  • Keep the QSR area clean and well-maintained.
  • Assist with cleaning tables, maintaining condiment stations, and delivering food to guests.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Report any service issues to management for resolution.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Candidates must be able to:
  • Utilize all necessary equipment, including POS systems and computers.
  • Recognize different currency denominations and make change accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members at all levels.
  • Review and understand relevant documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
  • Move efficiently throughout the work environment.
  • Lift, carry, and maneuver loads up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
  • Stand for extended periods and perform various physical tasks.
  • Work in a dynamic environment with varying levels of noise and crowd sizes.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; extensive experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • Obtain and maintain valid food handler certification prior to employment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and money handling skills.
  • Basic math proficiency is required.
  • Familiarity with QSR operations and equipment is beneficial.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
All team members are expected to comply with the following:
  • Obtain and maintain a Class C Gaming License through the Spokane Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Possess a MAST Liquor permit and Food Handlers Card.
  • Participate in required training sessions provided by the Spokane Tribe Casino.
  • Adhere to local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure minors are not permitted in gambling areas or served alcohol.
  • Understand relevant ordinances, regulations, and health codes.
  • Report any instances of wrongdoing to management.
