Job Summary

WPX Delivery Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Processing Freight: Safely and efficiently receive freight, maintain accurate records, and verify the condition of packages.
  • Inventory Management: Store freight as required by clients, maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, and ensure that all inventory is accurately tracked and accounted for.
  • Shipping and Handling: Prepare freight for shipment, accurately sort packages, and ensure that all shipments are properly labeled and documented.
  • Customer Service: Establish and maintain courteous business relationships with drivers, customers, clients, and co-workers, providing exceptional service and support as needed.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure work environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures, and reporting any safety concerns or incidents to management.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Physical Demands: Able to stand and walk on feet on cement floor for up to eight (8) hours per day, bend, stoop, climb, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry 50 pounds routinely and occasionally up to 70 pounds.
  • Communication Skills: Able to count to 200, add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and be at least 18 years old.
  • Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record prior to first day of work, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
