As a Regional Vice President – Community, you will play a critical role in growing our RIA referral platform and developing strong relationships with our Wealth Advisors, Tax Managers, and Leaders.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales momentum, fostering positive relationships with newly acquired firms, and cultivating an assigned region through ongoing communication with Wealth Advisors and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partnering with Wealth Advisors, Tax Managers, and Leaders to build strong relationships and drive business growth
  • Fostering positive relationships with newly acquired firms and serving as an ambassador for Mercer Advisors
  • Growing and cultivating an assigned region through proactive communication and relationship-building
  • Proactively identifying new sales opportunities and initiating business development calls
  • Meeting directly with referral prospects and working with Wealth Management Teams to develop client referral relationships
  • Providing valuable insights and information to support the growth and success of the organization
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience in the financial services industry
  • Series 65 or combination of Series 7 and Series 66 license required unless candidate holds one of the following credentials: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Investment Consultant (CIC)
  • Comprehensive industry and investment management knowledge
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and analytical skills
  • Proven time management and organizational skills in high-volume, high-energy environments
  • Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
