Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Fleet Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and reefers. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles
  • Complete documentation of all repair orders and parts used
  • Handle road service calls and perform road rescue as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, or a combination of both
  • Demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience in administering PM programs
  • CDL A and DOT certification preferred
