Overview

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) seeks a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of transportation equipment is in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment, including air brake systems, suspension systems, and electrical wiring systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Perform minor body repairs and maintenance, including replacing swing and roll-door panels, roofs, and floors.
  • Conduct undercarriage maintenance and repairs, including replacing crossmembers, ICC bumpers, and spring hangers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to weld steel components from various positions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless workflow and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mobile equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
