Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Spanish Interpreter to join our team at Advance Community Health. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between our patients, staff, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely interpretation services in a fast-paced setting, maintaining the tone, style, and meaning of the original message.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics, respecting the privacy and sensitivity of information shared during interpreting sessions.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement high-quality services that meet the needs of our diverse community.
  • Travel to various locations within our organization as needed to provide interpretation services.
  • Participate in meetings, committees, and department projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as an Interpreter in a fast-paced setting.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with exceptional oral and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with diverse individuals and groups.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Spanish Interpreter in medical, educational, mental health, quasi-legal, or business settings.
