About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Dietitian I to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Nutritional Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough nutritional assessments of patients using standardized tools and protocols, and develop personalized nutrition plans to address their unique needs and health goals.
  2. Patient Education and Counseling: Provide comprehensive education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits, nutrition-related disease management, and lifestyle modifications.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  4. Menu Planning and Nutrition Services: Collaborate with the Food and Nutrition Services team to develop and implement menu plans that meet the nutritional needs of patients and promote healthy eating habits.
  5. Quality Improvement and Compliance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field
  • Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Valid dietitian licensure as required by state (if applicable)
  • Light work - exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently
