Job Title: Sprinkler Inspection Technician

Join Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, a leading fire, life safety, and security company, as a Sprinkler Inspection Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting routine preventative maintenance on sprinkler fire suppression systems, ensuring the highest level of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on sprinkler fire suppression systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet industry standards.
  • Service and inspect wet, dry, and pre-action fire suppression systems to identify any issues or defects.
  • Install, maintain, repair, or replace fire sprinkler equipment and systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Perform inspections to ensure alarms are installed according to code and complete detailed inspection reports documenting any issues.
  • Protect and maintain company equipment, including vehicles and warehouse equipment.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience with fire sprinkler systems preferred.
  • Experience with commercial and residential systems.
  • Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to/from the office or job site.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling requirements that occasionally will require evening, weekend, and/or out-of-town assignments.
  • Requires the ability to display knowledge of principles and practices of fire safety and basic practices of reviewing official documents for completeness and accuracy.
