Key Responsibilities- Install and test fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper function and compliance with industry standards
- Maintain and repair fire sprinkler systems, including cutting, threading, and assembling piping and tubes
- Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems to identify and address any issues or defects
- Document all work performed, including inspections, tests, and repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless project execution
- Advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be in good physical condition with no limitations
- Must be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather
- One or more years' experience inspecting fire sprinkler systems
- Working knowledge of backflow inspections, troubleshooting, and report documentation
- Experience in Fire Extinguisher inspection procedures
- Experience in Fire Pump procedures and flow testing
- Enthusiasm for technology and improving processes
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
