Job Title: Quality Systems Manager

At Damascus Bakeries / Brooklyn Bred, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Systems Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our Food Safety and Quality Programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement in our quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Food Safety / Quality (SQF) Program of Damascus Bakery OPCO LLC (Newark) and Damascus Bakery OPCO LLC (Clifton)
  • Conduct audits with regulatory agencies and manage customer complaints
  • Support the Crisis Management team and ensure compliance with all food legislation regulations
  • Oversee the Environmental Program, including pathogen testing and air swabbing
  • Establish and monitor departments' KPIs and company scorecard
  • Support sanitation and food safety initiatives
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in quality management and food safety
  • Strong leadership and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work with all departments to foster company-wide food safety
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
