Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Treatment Technician to join our team at Siena Francis House. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision and support to residents in our residential setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Transport clients to and from AA meetings, and other off-unit approved activities, utilizing a 15-passenger van.
  • Conduct regular room inspections to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Monitor resident behavior and implement consequences as needed, while promoting a culture of accountability and recovery.
  • Assist with medication administration, including self-administered medications.
  • Support and track client attendance at 12-step meetings and other groups, promoting engagement and participation.
  • Conduct urinalysis drug screens and participate in intakes, including initial screenings and orientations.
  • Collaborate with counselors and other staff members to provide comprehensive support to program participants.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, fostering a sense of community and connection.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with clients suffering from substance abuse addiction and/or mental illness.
  • High School degree or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Clean driving record and Nebraska's license.
  • Basic computer skills required.
