Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Occupancy Preparation: Prepare apartments for new residents by performing routine maintenance tasks, making repairs, and ensuring the property is in a safe and habitable condition.
  • Emergency Repairs: Respond to and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring resident satisfaction.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain and manage your own tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet the necessary standards.
  • Knowledge of Building Systems: Possess a working knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • AppFolio Software: Familiarity with AppFolio software is a plus, as you will be using this system to manage work orders and communicate with residents.
Requirements
  • Self-Motivation and Problem-Solving: Be a self-motivated problem-solver who is eager to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Schedule: Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, paid weekly.
