Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Finance Operations Intern to join our Accounts Payable team at our Corporate headquarters.
*This position is not available for remote work.*
Compensation: $19.50 per hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize workflow systems to assess incoming Accounts Payable invoices.
- Verify data fields for precision and make necessary adjustments.
- Route invoices to the correct departmental queue.
- Assist in reconciling vendor statements.
- Conduct data entry, review, and posting of AP invoices within the accounting system.
- Collaborate with the Corporate AP Team to ensure prompt invoice processing.
- Support additional AP tasks and projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn WSFP's Accounts Payable procedures.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborative mindset.
- Effective time management skills.
- Willingness to undergo a post-offer drug test and background screening.
