Paralegal for Housing Rights Project

Queens Legal Services (QLS) is seeking a full-time Paralegal to support our Housing Rights Project. The successful candidate will assist in representing clients, conducting eligibility screenings, and entering client information into databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting eligibility screenings and gathering demographic data
- Entering and tracking client information in databases
- Coordinating follow-up services and gathering documents
- Providing information and referrals under the supervision of an attorney
- Maintaining client-related files and using language-assistance resources
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Detail-oriented and strong interviewing, writing, and communication skills
- Experience working with low-income communities and communities of color
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and ability to learn additional software
