Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Part-Time Mobile Crisis Specialist to join our crisis intervention team in Westminster, MD.

As a Mobile Crisis Specialist, you will perform assessments and crisis intervention, including de-escalation, crisis planning, implementation, and treatment plans with consumers in the community.

This is a weekend position and will consist of Saturday and Sunday shifts. 9am-5 pm or 4pm-12 am.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate clients' needs while making internal agency or community referrals.
  • Serve as a liaison for collaboration with other involved parties, including families, friends, and community partners such as local police and fire departments.
  • Educate individuals about community resources related to mental health, substance abuse, available community resources, and the agency's services.
  • Complete documentation in an accurate and thorough manner.
  • Abide by all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to confidentiality and protected health information.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field of study and at least one (1) year professional experience (experience working within a crisis environment preferred).
  • Must possess and maintain current licensure in the state of Maryland (LMSW or LGPC).
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance.
