Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Quadrant Inc. in Reston, VA. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process patient specimens, including blood and stool samples, for diagnostic testing.
  • Complete request forms for diagnostic testing and ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Provide physical care and assist with providers' orders, including administering injections and taking manual blood pressure.
  • Review lab results and communicate with patients regarding test outcomes and instructions.
  • Manage and maintain office lab equipment, including controls and data logs.
  • Order supplies for lab equipment and assist with prescription management.
  • Support patient education and provide information on treatment plans and medications.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and assist with patient care as needed.
Requirements
  • Over 5 years of experience working in a doctor's office.
  • CPR certification.
  • Experience taking manual blood pressure and administering injections.
