Practical Nursing Faculty Position

This faculty position focuses on delivering quality education to students in the practical nursing program. The selected candidate will teach approved theory and clinical curriculum, utilizing appropriate teaching methodologies and instructional materials to meet students' needs.
The job requires participation in planning and organizing nursing curriculum, including establishing course competencies and syllabi development as defined by accrediting agencies. Additionally, the instructor will create a positive educational climate, document and evaluate student progress, and provide feedback and academic counseling as necessary.
Qualified candidates possess a baccalaureate degree in nursing and a current license as a registered nurse in the state of Kansas. A minimum of two years of nursing experience and certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation are also required.
