Nursing Faculty Role
Hutchinson Community College is seeking a qualified nursing faculty member to teach at our McPherson Center. As a nursing instructor, you will contribute to the college's mission by providing high-quality education to students pursuing a career in practical nursing.

The annual salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Additionally, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a 9-month contract with extended breaks.

About the Job

This is a part-time teaching position that involves developing and delivering nursing curriculum, as well as overseeing clinical experiences and monitoring student progress. Successful candidates will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Course Development: Create and maintain up-to-date nursing curriculum that aligns with industry standards and requirements.
  • Clinical Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate clinical experiences, working closely with program coordinators and external partners.
  • Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students, helping them achieve academic success and meet their professional goals.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in nursing and be a licensed registered nurse in good standing. A minimum of two years' experience in nursing is also required, along with certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
