Key ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Psychiatric Pharmacist plays a vital role in our team, responsible for daily rounding on assigned units and delivering exceptional clinical care to patients. This involves ensuring optimal clinical care in acute and residential/partial psychiatric settings, incorporating aspects of general medicine through patient-specific assessments and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor of Science and/or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy, with residency experience required and PGY2 residency in Psychiatry preferred.
- License: Unrestricted pharmacy licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts within 90 days of hire.
- Experience: Previous hospital pharmacy experience is essential, with all employees required to possess basic computer skills for electronic and online systems.
Our Clinical Psychiatric Pharmacist will work in a typical hospital pharmacy environment, with occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals and substances. The role requires moderate stress levels, with repetitive tasks and extended periods of standing, walking, and bending.
