Position:

FMS Program Management Analyst

Overview:

The FMS Program Management Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing intricate Foreign Military Sales (FMS) initiatives. This position is essential for evaluating Requests for Information and Letters of Request (LORs) concerning system and platform details related to advanced defense systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Program Management Offices, industry partners, and various commands to facilitate the creation of LORs and Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) in response to international requests.
  • Address Integrated Logistics Support needs for host nations, including requirements for Ground Support Equipment and support vehicles, as well as multi-modal transportation strategies.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of foreign visits to the U.S. in preparation for meetings focused on defense platforms.

Financial Oversight:

Respond to inquiries related to FMS funding, ensuring that obligation plans are accurately documented. Review objectives and provide insights to ensure that funds are utilized in alignment with established plans. Draft memorandums for action items and coordinate necessary LOA response documents.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare updates for COP/CEA 7 reports and develop materials for country briefings and reports/memorandums. Assist in the organization and documentation of Program Management Reviews and other relevant meetings.

Case Development:

Manage the development of FMS cases within the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS) and oversee all components of the FMS Repair and Return program.

Travel Requirements:

Travel may be necessary, both within the continental U.S. and internationally, up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation.
  • Must possess an active secret clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain one.
