Position Overview

The Procurement Assistant is responsible for acquiring designated products, ensuring timely delivery from designated vendors, and maintaining accurate order records. This role includes various administrative tasks related to procurement as needed.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Establishing a reliable and precise method for tracking purchase orders.

2. Compiling and presenting a weekly report on purchase orders to management, detailing invoice numbers for all completed transactions.

3. Collaborating with the management team to confirm that all shipments meet the specified orders and addressing any issues with back orders or missing items.

4. Communicating effectively with management to ensure the accuracy of all orders placed.

5. Investigating and resolving any discrepancies in invoicing with suppliers.

6. Complying with Quality Systems and engaging in ongoing improvement initiatives.

Regular and dependable attendance is a critical aspect of this role.

Supervisory Role

This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.
