We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Relations Specialist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Healthcare. This role will provide critical support to our Patient Relations and administrative Legal Department and Risk Management teams.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Relations: Serve as a centralized point-of-contact for receiving incoming phone calls, visits, and correspondence concerning complaints. Accurately enter information in the database in a timely manner to ensure data is complete and current when accessed.
- Administrative Liaison Support: Provide administrative support to the Legal and Risk Management Departments, including triaging questions from staff and forwarding to the appropriate staff in the Legal/Risk Management Department.
- Confidentiality and Risk Management: Maintain confidentiality at all times and only share information on a need-to-know basis. Accurately maintain the Legal/Risk Management database to include Patient Relations and Risk Management in a timely manner to ensure data is complete and current when accessed.
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits.
- 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%.

- PTO accrual beginning Day 1.
