Job Summary
As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Mount Nittany Health, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the application of non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves to humans for a diagnosis of disease.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce images of the human body for diagnostic purposes
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and safety
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure accurate and efficient imaging
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
- 1+ year of experience in diagnostic imaging
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
