Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Investor Relations Associate to join our team. As a key member of our investor relations team, you'll be responsible for managing investor communications, developing strategic partnerships, and driving business growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing investor relationships and communications, including responding to investor inquiries, preparing investor presentations, and conducting investor meetings
  2. Developing and implementing strategic partnerships with investors, including identifying new investment opportunities, negotiating partnership terms, and maintaining existing relationships
  3. Driving business growth through investor engagement, including identifying new revenue streams, developing marketing strategies, and measuring campaign effectiveness
  4. Collaborating with our investment research team to develop investment ideas, conduct due diligence, and provide market insights
  5. Working closely with our product design team to develop and launch new products and services that meet investor needs
  6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of investor communications, including email, phone, and meeting notes
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Investment Banking, or other client-facing investment management roles
  • Exceptional written and communication skills along with an acute attention to details
  • Demonstrated ability to handle assorted investor questions (including investment recommendations, market perspectives, portfolio positioning, etc.)
  • Comfortable with high volumes of investor interactions (e.g., phone calls, large-audience webinars)
  • Strong ability to work cross functionally and think creatively to drive product growth
  • Familiarity with investment management principles, asset allocation frameworks, alternative investing, and quantitative analysis
  • Proficiency with basic financial modeling in Microsoft Excel
  • You are fluent with data. You can use data to answer questions, identify opportunities, find insights, measure progress towards goals, and iterate quickly.
  • You make things happen. You are scrappy and find ways to overcome roadblocks with workarounds or tradeoffs.
  • Series 7, 63 and 65 (or Series 7 and 66) preferred, but not required. May gain licenses after start; unlicensed candidates may be considered if willing to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date.

$125,000 - $190,000 per year, depending on experience. Bonus potential.

This role is based in New York City.
