The Procurement Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Purchasing department under the guidance of senior management.
Responsible for reviewing incoming purchase requests to ensure they are accurate and complete, while confirming necessary authorizations.
Initiates and follows up on quote requests, ensuring timely responses from suppliers.

Assists in establishing competitive pricing for assigned products or services by analyzing historical pricing data and current quotes.

Monitors costs and schedules related to assigned contracts, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.

Engages with suppliers and their representatives, conducting site visits to assess their alignment with Ryzen Solutions' operational standards and objectives.

Oversees and coordinates the return of goods to vendors, ensuring optimal corrective measures are taken.
Collaborates with various departments to address delivery timelines, specifications, pricing, quantities, and quality concerns.
Works closely with senior team members to enhance delivery processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Responsible for managing one or more categories such as precision components, metal fabrications, magnets, bearings, maintenance supplies, service agreements, or capital equipment acquisitions.

Utilizes diverse procurement strategies including spot purchasing, blanket orders, and supplier inventory programs to secure necessary materials in a cost-effective manner.

Keeps accurate records and reports on assigned suppliers and commodities, focusing on performance metrics, capacity, lead times, and pricing as required by management.

Determines specific delivery schedules and quantities to meet anticipated demands while adhering to company cost and inventory objectives.

Proposes and implements enhancements to procurement practices, supplier management protocols, and internal processes based on effective communication and feedback.

Accountable for the planning and acquisition of essential materials, components, equipment, and services, as well as managing supplier relationships.

Evaluates purchase requests, gathers quotations, reviews bids, and develops both short- and long-term procurement strategies based on supplier performance metrics (quality, cost, delivery, reliability) and overall product/service value.

Builds and maintains a supplier network that fulfills Ryzen Solutions' demand for capacity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Approves and qualifies suppliers in accordance with the established Supplier Qualification Process.
Collaborates with Planning, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Engineering, and Sales teams as necessary.
Assists in the training and development of team members within the Purchasing department.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience combined with a minimum of 4 years in a relevant field.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide colleagues.
