Nurse Practitioner delivers defined patient care services in a retail clinic environment. This role involves working in collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals to provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients ranging in age 18 months and above. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately evaluating, treating, and providing health counseling to patients, as well as documenting care within an electronic health record.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients' medical needs for safe and high-quality treatment.
Educate patients on maintaining proper health and provide health counseling.
Document all patient care within an electronic health record.
Participate in an interdisciplinary team providing care and coordination of patients with internal and external colleagues.
Facilitate the development of effective Patient-Centered Practice Teams.
Requirements:
A Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role is required. Additionally, 1+ year of professional experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner is necessary. Application for DEA is required at time of offer.
