Job Overview

Community Care Alliance is seeking a skilled Vocational Specialist to support individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges in preparing for competitive employment and/or furthering their education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct vocational assessments to identify individuals' strengths and barriers to employment/education
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support career exploration, job development, and job coaching
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support services
  • Identify and address individuals' barriers to employment/education, and develop strategies to overcome them
  • Assist individuals in developing and working on recovery plan goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in the Human Services field or associate's degree working towards a bachelor's degree
  • Approved driver's record, insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant ethical guidelines in behavioral health practice
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices/evidence-based practices
