As an Aviation Service Specialist, you will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring that both crew and passengers receive unparalleled support during their time with us. Your role will involve creating a welcoming atmosphere and offering concierge-level services to meet all customer needs. You will also work closely with ground teams to guarantee that all services are executed seamlessly and billed accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Assist pilots and clients with concierge services, including making necessary reservations.
  • Manage invoicing for services provided to clients and flight crews.
  • Document customer preferences in our internal system.
  • Prepare proactively for the arrival of incoming aircraft.
  • Provide timely feedback to management regarding service issues or customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the line service team to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure the hospitality bar is well-stocked with refreshments.
  • Maintain a tidy work environment, including the front desk and lobby areas.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong customer focus with an outgoing personality.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
  • Basic math skills for invoicing and record-keeping.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional setting, with potential exposure to various weather conditions and direct interaction with aircraft.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to stand and engage with customers throughout the facility.
  • Possible exposure to noise, chemicals, and machinery.

Position Details:
This is a non-exempt role that requires shift work, including evenings and weekends. Flexibility to work on holidays may also be necessary.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a service-oriented industry.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with Excel and database management.
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain a drug-free workplace.
