Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Counselor to join our team. As a Sales Counselor, you will be responsible for representing our community throughout the sales and decision-making process for prospective residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from initial inquiry to receipt of deposit and move-in, promoting our community to prospective residents.
  • Initiate ongoing contact with prospective residents through telephone, personal visits, tours, and home visit activities to facilitate the selling process.
  • Counsel and advise prospective residents, family members, and key influencers on levels of care, community services, and features, as well as available residential options.
  • Document all information related to prospective residents and inquiries, including communication with administration and direct supervision.
  • Display a thorough understanding of marketing contracts, community amenities, and services to communicate effectively with prospective residents.
  • Coordinate and participate in marketing events throughout the year.
  • Coordinate communication with necessary parties to facilitate a timely and appropriate sale and move-in process.
  • Contribute to the development and research of our community's marketing strategies and plans.
  • Handle inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Achieve sales goals as outlined by the Marketing Director.
  • Meet customer contact goals as outlined by the Marketing Director.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience is required.
  • At least five years of experience in comparable sales is preferred; education or experience in sales, public relations, or sales psychology is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to communicate effectively with both large and small groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently with self-discipline and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and lead-tracking software.
  • Excellent customer service skills are necessary.
