Ariel Corporation is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in the production of reciprocating gas compressors. As a key member of our assembly department, you will be responsible for building high-precision, machined parts and ensuring the quality of our products.

Our compressors vary in size and consist of a frame, crankshaft, pistons, guides, cylinders, and several other high-precision, machined parts. A typical day will include using digital work instructions, blueprints, and build books, overhead cranes, a variety of power tools, and precision measuring equipment to assemble our compressors.

As an Assembly Technician, you will work individually or as part of a team throughout different work centers to prebuild compressor components, prepare parts for assembly, pressure test, final assemble, and paint our units. A team player with mechanical aptitude and an eye for quality will be the most successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Attention to detail and quality mindset
  • Ability to safely operate heavy equipment (overhead cranes, forklifts, etc.)
  • Experience with or knowledge of manufacturing practices (ISO, safety, quality, etc.)
  • Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and diagnosing experience (engines, transmissions, etc.)
  • Experience reading blueprints, build books, and following visual work instructions
  • Experience working within a team environment
