Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at Terex. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building and assembling conveyors, hoppers, and other equipment from blueprints and parts books. You will also install belts, gearboxes, motors, and other components onto metal structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install conveyor systems, hoppers, and other equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Install and maintain belts, gearboxes, motors, and other components on metal structures.
  • Prepare equipment for shipment by loading and securing loads.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Ability to use hand tools and air tools.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.

Working Conditions:

This position is subject to working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The position also requires the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Salary Range: $17.50-$20.50/hour
