About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical individual to join our team as a Director of Demand Planning in Los Angeles, CA.

As a key member of our Sales department, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining channel and SKU level forecasts for select accounts with a key emphasis on forecast accuracy to maximize sales and optimize in-stocks.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in forecasting/demand planning, preferably in Beauty or CPG
  • BA/BS or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Aptitude to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret meaningful trends from data
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  1. Develop an accurate monthly demand forecast at the category, collection, and SKU level, inclusive of core and seasonal products and one-time sales & marketing programs
  2. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and DTC teams to gather inputs and align on retail sales and sell-in plans
  3. Collaborate with Ops/Supply Planning to ensure an executable supply plan is developed to meet forecast requirements
  4. Measure forecast accuracy with the goal to maximize sales while optimizing inventory levels across retailers

Estimated annual salary: $95,000 - $120,000
