Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Budget Analyst to join our team at the Department of Labor. As a key member of our financial planning team, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing financial plans, budgets, and reports to support the department's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial plans, budgets, and reports to support the department's mission
  • Analyze financial data and trends to inform budget decisions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize financial needs
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize departmental resources
  • Provide financial guidance and support to departmental leadership
Requirements
  • GS-14 level experience in budget analysis, financial planning, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems
