Budget Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Budget Analyst to join our team at the Department of Labor. As a key member of our financial planning team, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing financial plans, budgets, and reports to support the department's mission.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain financial plans, budgets, and reports to support the department's mission
- Analyze financial data and trends to inform budget decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize financial needs
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize departmental resources
- Provide financial guidance and support to departmental leadership
- GS-14 level experience in budget analysis, financial planning, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in financial software and systems
