Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Budget Coverage Analyst to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating clinical research billing plans and Medicare Coverage Analyses (MCA) for all industry-sponsored studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of clinical research billing plans and Medicare Coverage Analyses (MCA) for industry-sponsored studies.
  • Ensure consistency in budgeting/expense/coverage across clinical trials documentation, including protocols, informed consents, and budget and contract payment terms.
  • Negotiate and compile clinical research budgets and review payment terms.
  • Provide insight and direction to post-award analysts related to invoicing and managing clinical research awards.
  • Consistently demonstrate support for compliance in the performance of job duties and responsibilities.
  • Review current business processes and continually seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely and coordinate activities with applicable Contracts and Grants departments.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree related to healthcare or business.
  • A minimum 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
  • At least two years' experience in clinical trials budgets in a hospital, university, or academic medical center setting.
  • Direct experience with budgeting oncology or non-oncology clinical trials, Medicare coverage analysis, and research finance.
  • Experience with the Clinical Trials Management System (OnCore) and ability to input trials and budgets into the system.
Work Mode Designation

This position has been designated as Telework.

Pay Range

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position is: $66, $126,720.23.
