As a key member of our nursing administration team, you will be responsible for directing clinical activities, developing departmental goals, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Departmental Goals: Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to establish departmental objectives, aligning with the organization's overall strategy.
- Lead Clinical Activities: Direct patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
- Staffing and Development: Plan, organize, and direct staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and continuing education initiatives to foster a culture of excellence.
- Financial Management: Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring the assigned nursing area operates within allocated funds.
- Quality and Compliance: Coordinate and direct internal and externally-driven audits to maintain regulatory compliance and quality standards.
- Education: Master's degree in nursing or a related field; Bachelor's degree in Nursing if Master's is not in Nursing.
- Experience: Three years' registered nurse experience, with one year in direct people management/leadership, including experience as an ED RN and/or ED leader.
- Professional Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA), and Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services or Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State.
