Job Summary

The 1st Assistant Store Leader will work in partnership with the Store Leader to drive business growth, maximize sales and profitability, and ensure excellent customer service. This role is responsible for maintaining a visually appealing store environment, managing sales team performance, and upholding company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Store Leader to achieve sales and profitability goals
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to drive sales
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet performance expectations
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints
  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and loss prevention
  • Partner with the Visual Department to plan and execute visual displays and promotions
  • Assist with staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and onboarding
  • Embody the brand aesthetic and maintain a strong sense of fashion
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
  • 2+ years of management-level experience in a specialty retail environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and POS systems
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
