The Bag Machine Operator role involves acquiring skills in production tasks such as fundamental machine operation and quality assurance, which will facilitate career growth and enhance productivity.

The primary responsibility of the Bag Machine Operator includes operating and maintaining bagging machinery while adhering to safety, quality, and productivity benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for waste management, operational efficiency, and product quality.
  • Assist in the setup and operation of bagging machines and related equipment in accordance with product specifications and management schedules.
  • Participate in routine machine maintenance training and troubleshooting to execute repairs as instructed.
  • Provide raw materials to the production area, package finished products, and lift boxes of materials for machine loading.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and report any suspect or defective products for appropriate action.
  • Fill in and support other production roles as needed.
  • Utilize hoisting equipment to move rolls for machine loading.
  • Assist in ensuring correct labeling of parts.
  • Make tape splices at the bagging machine packing area.
  • Receive training on process and material flow to facilitate the supply of all raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies from the warehouse to the machine.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma.

Experience:
Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skills:
Ability to interpret measuring tapes and product specifications, along with mechanical aptitude.
