Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous, hands-on, results-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills and a strong work ethic to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role encompasses managing all facets of the quality control production process, including audits and compliance with ISO standards, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for process quality concerns, including inspection activities and escalations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify defects.
  • Provide guidance on acceptance criteria for cosmetic issues to quality control and manufacturing teams.
  • Coordinate and resolve quality control issues effectively.
  • Shift QA focus from data collection to driving process improvement through audits.
  • Direct QA resources to perform in-line audits and assess upstream processes.
  • Establish strong connections between QA teams and Engineering/Manufacturing teams.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to uphold quality standards.
  • Develop proactive solutions and implement quality strategies across the organization.
  • Serve as the customer-facing QA representative, effectively communicating with internal stakeholders.
  • Guide site QA teams to maintain consistent standards and share best practices.
  • Review and approve corrective action plans and conduct additional assessments as necessary.
  • Perform failure analyses and root cause investigations.
  • Oversee reliability testing and equipment calibration processes.
  • Conduct internal audits on quality management systems and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate external regulatory audits as required.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in contract manufacturing and quality control, and 3 years in a leadership role or a comparable combination of experience.

Essential Skills
  • Prior experience in manufacturing engineering and quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and tools.
  • Experience with server/computer build or repair processes.
  • Knowledge of key customer processes in the high-tech industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on experience with quality system training and SPC principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
